Group Performance Boot Camp
Spring 2007 Intermediate Moves & Beginning Group Performance
Boot Camp is a 16 week intensive program for intermediate students
and beginning performers focused on several areas of development.
The program meets 80 - 160 minutes per week with different areas
of focus for each session. Poilates sessions are focused on the
meditative qualities of poi and generating movement from the
core of ones body. Intermediate moves and drills classes are
focused on augmenting ones skills technically with poi. This
will include the skills most relevant for each student at their
current level of development as well as specific work on wall
plane work. Performance sessions are focused on developing performance
presence and character while choreography sessions are dedicated
to creating and practicing the group performance piece for the
Temple of Poi 2007 Fire Dancing Expo. Assessment and individual
study sessions, along with 2 half hour private sessions with
GlitterGirl (to be scheduled on one of the tuesday evenings not
scheduled for a late class) are designed to analyze individual
needs of the students and work on the areas of development most
relevant for that student.

In addition, each student must schedule 2 30 minute private
sessions. Students must select a session from their night of
the week, one from each of the following groups in one of the
following time slots which will be filled first come first served.

Tuition
This intensive includes: 25 80 minute sessions: list price at
$30 per session is $750; plus 2 30 minute private sessions: list
price $125.
Total list price is $875 but we'll give you this entire package
for $100 off ($775 total) for making the 16 week commitment payable
in 5 installments of $155* or a pre-paid discount price of $695
when you pay it all in full on or before noon, December 31, 2006**.
Tuition does not include gear, costumes, fuel, insurance and
other expenses performers may incur.

if students misses classes or drops the series; 1st payment due
via paypal and all subsequent payments due in cash at sessions
3, 8, 15 and 23; payments are non refundable and non transferable;
makeup sessions are available for an additional discounted fee
of $90/hour for a private session and $125/hour total for 2 -4
