IIIC: WallPlanes Combos

If you have begun working with multibeat moves and looking for
effective combinations to integrate them within, then this series
is for you. Students begin by learning basic wallplane combinations
including:
- barrel rolls, spin and anti spin
- buzzsaw fountains turnarounds
- flower combinations
This 4 week class helps artists learn how to transition in and
out of wall plane movements to help integrate them into their
performance style. The class helps students use these basic moves:
- weaves
- butterflies
- hip reels
- pinwheels
- corkscrews
- buzzsaws
And combine them with the moves learned in the Int.
IIC: WallPlanes & Lockouts class:
- weave lockout turnarounds
- see-saw lockouts
- wall plane fountain
- barrel rolls
- pinwheel/corkscrew lockouts
- grands
- cascades (up, down, split and same direction)
- flowers
In addition, this class practices the following drills:
- waist wrap drills
- concentric circles - same direction, split direction
- buzzsaw fountains - same direction, split direction
- drills for the bouncing ball
- see-saw drills
- double rotators
- stacked circle turns
- spin and anti-spin drills
To maximize the value of these classes, class size is small (6
or less) and each student receives individual focus from the instructors.
Each of the classes meets for 80 minutes.
Prerequisite
Students must already know the moves presented in the Int.
IIC: WallPlanes & Lockouts class as well as the following
moves:
- weaves
- butterflies
- hip reels
- pinwheels
- corkscrews
- buzzsaw
