Introduction
to Polyrhythmic Poi is a 4 week class teaching various
intermediate moves wherein one hand is moving at a different
rate of speed than the other (2x1). The 4 week series distinguishes
over 200 2x1 moves including the anti-gravity and glitter
home weaves, snails, and 2x1 thread the needle. This class
also includes the overhand 5 beat weave, underhand behind
the back weave.  |

Behind
the Multibeat is a 4 week class teaching various
intermediate moves focusing on basic behind the back movements
(starting with the underhand behind the back weave) and multibeat
moves, including the 5 beat weaves over and underhand, 4 beat
thread the needles moves and 4 beat corkscrew. Students are
also introduced to the cyclone and other combinations using
these multibeat moves.  |

WallPlanes
& Lockouts is a 4 week class teaching various
wallplane moves including barrel rolls, buzzsaw fountains,
horizontal plane corkscrews and buzzsaws, flowers and wall
plane fountains. The class includes numerous drills which
focus on the poi working in consistent and parallel planes.

Transition
Flair is a 4 week class teaching numerous stall and
wrap combinations, various combos using under the leg transitions,
drags, stops and combinations that add polish, flair, and
flow to any performance.

Split
Direction is a 4 week class focusing on moves and
transitions in split direction including 4 versions of the
split direction weave, cross over takeouts, split direction
buzzsaw fountains, butterfly buzzsaw transitions and turns,
and split direction horizontal movements.  |

Behind
the Waist Wrap is a 4 week class which teaches numerous
drills to aid students in learning the behind the back overhand
and underhand weaves, the turnarounds between the weaves,
the waist wrap in same and split time, behind the back weave
flowers, behind the back butterflies and butterfly waist wraps.
As time and skill permit, students are also introduced to
various transitions and combos using these moves.  |

Mixed
Combos is a 4 week class teaching students various
transitions into and out of moves through customized combinations
targetting the specific request of each student. Through these
combinations, artists learn new ways of creating flow while
integrating moves into their style. |
