Intermediate I Series

Course Overview

For those of you just completing the beginner dance series and/or wanting to take intermediate classes and wondering what class to take next, consider this 2 week course. The class will covers the following moves and combos:

• buzzsaws - 4 directions
• thread the needle - 2 directions
• hip reel/pinwheel combos - 4 directions
• thread the needle side to side transitions - 4 turns

And, as time permits:

• hip reel turns
• pinwheel turns
• additional stalls

The class also features follow the leader work to help improve overall flow and expose students to other combinations of moves. To assist your learning process, you can purchase our 34 double sided flashcards for this class.

Prerequisites

• ability to do weave and butterfly in over and underhand
• ability to do pinwheel in at least 2 directions (including "Mexican Wave")
• ability to do hip reels in at least 2 directions
