Bay Area National Dance Week is an annual 10-day week of free public dance events in the Bay Area designed to showcase the dynamic diversity and critically acclaimed quality of Bay Area dance. This year the event runs from April 20 - April 29 and their web site lists free classes that are available throughout the Bay Area.

Temple of Poi supports the National Dance Week vision by offering free classes and events in honor of this celebration. Below is a full schedule of events you can attend offered by Temple of Poi. In addition to the schedule below, Temple of Poi will be holding a drawing to award students new to the community a number of prizes including free poi and certificates for classes. Stop by one of our classes to enter yourself in the drawing.

Sunday, April 22, 12:00-4:00 PM, 5:00-9:00 PM at the Palace of Fine Arts

Join Temple of Poi Dancers at the Palace of Fine Arts for 4 fabulous 2 hour rehearsals for our Fire Dancing Expo on April 29th. Rehearsals are from 12-2, 2-4, 5-7 and 7-9 pm under the dome at the Palace (3301 Lyon St @ Richardson).
