Coupons
Coupons are limited to one per client per course. Clients may only use up to 2 coupons per year. Coupon must be presented the first night of the class series when cash balance is due and will be applied to the balance owed not the registration fee. Coupons may only be applied to full price classes and may not be used in conjunction with any other discounts. Coupons may not be used with payment plans.
Groupons
Groupons are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Students may schedule a session by emailing their full name, phone number and groupon number to groupon (at) templeofpoi (dawt) com. Students may only reschedule a class 7 days prior to the start date of the class without forfeiting the Groupon.
Registration
All Temple of Poi classes, workshops and intensives
require registration prior to the start of class as space is limited
to ensure students receive a high quality education. Students
are required to put a deposit down for any class for which they
are registering. This deposit is non-refundable, though it can
be transferred if the student reschedules 7 days prior to the
class and/or beginning of the series.

Payment Information
All payments are non-refundable.
To secure your spot in a class, you must place a deposit for
the class with us prior to the first day of class. Deposit rates
are as follows:
- Drop in classes: $15
- 2 week series classes: $30
- 4 week series classes: $60
- 6 week series classes: $80
- Non-semester workshops: $50
- Semester workshops: $120
- Intensives: 30%
- Privates: $135
All class series, drop in and non semester workshops require
payment for all classes of the series in full at the beginning
of the first session of the series.
Semester workshops require full payment for
the series, regardless of attendance of the student throughout
the workshop, and payments are due on the following schedule:
- Registration Fee: $120
- Class 5: $100
- Class 9: $100
- Class 13: $100
- Class 14: $40
All payments are due in cash, paypal* or cashier’s check.
*Paypal payments, please add a $5 convenience fee to payments

Private Sessions
All class payments are due at the beginning of class in cash
or prior to the start of class via paypal*. If you need to cancel
a private session, students are required to do so with a minimum
of 24 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Students canceling
between 12-24 hours prior to the class are assessed a cancellation
fee of 50% of the private session; students who cancel within
2- 12 hours of the start time of the class are charged 75% of
the cost of the private session; students who cancel within 2
hours of the start of session will be charged the full price. Additional flexibility may be
available at our discretion.

Additional Payment for Fire
Classes
In addition to an instructional fee for Fire classes, student
should expect to pay to purchase materials. The fee will vary,
depending on the specific class and tools being built. Student
should budget approximately $85 for poi, $80 per fire staff and
$165 per fire hoop.
Materials
Students are expected to provide their own practice tools. The
Temple of Poi does offer tools
for students interested in acquiring tools.
Referral Credits
Students who have completed a full series of classes who refer a client to Temple of Poi who then registers for a full series of classes receive a $15 credit that can be applied toward any non discounted intermediate (or beyond) level poi class. Must arrange in advanced with GlitterGirl to apply the credit to the class. May not be combined with any other discounts without prior approval from GlitterGirl.
Cancellations
Students may only reschedule a class or class series (under limited circumstances) 7 days prior to the start of the first date of the series or class without incurring a fee. If a student does not show up for a class within 15 minutes of
the start time of the class without contacting the instructor
prior to class, the instructor reserves the right to cancel the
class. If Temple of Poi cancels a class, we will reschedule the
class at a later date or offer a credit for the value of the missed
class.

Though we may wave these fees in extenuating circumstances, cancellation
penalties are set as follows:
Series classes, workshops and
group intensives: no fee and
class is forfeit
Private classes and private
intensives: no penalty if 24 hour notice is given;
50% penalty if 12-24 hours notice given; 75% penalty if 2-12 hours
notice is given; under 2 hours notice and no shows will be charged 100%.
Makeup Class Policy
Beginner classes:
The most cost effective solution to missed beginner classes
is gaining access to the on line training
material for a limited period of time (90 days) to augment
learning and provide access to the missed material. The cost to
students registering for in person classes is $35 for all 6 classes.
Additionally, beginner students are always welcome to obtain supplemental
instruction and makeup classes at a discounted rate of $65 per
hour. In rare instances, beginner students may schedule a makeup
group class, where available, for a fee of $25 for each class.
Non Beginner Series classes:
Students are welcome to take a private session at the current
private session rate as
a makeup for intermediate class. In rare instances, students may
schedule a makeup group class, where available, for a fee of $30
for each class.
Semester Workshops:
No makeup classes are available as each class is customized and
one of a kind. Students are welcome to take a private session
at the current private session
rate as a makeup.
Waiting List Policy
Series classes:
Students name will be retained and approached for next
opening in specified class and others that follow.
Series class with drop-in spots
available: A students name will
be placed on the waiting list for specified classes. if the student
agrees to take the class within 24 hours of class start time,
they may receive this class at a rate of $30 as a single non series
drop in class.
Starving Artist
Pricing
For students interested in intermediate series classes for whom
the regular series price does not work, work-trade opportunities
are available. Please contact us for details. Arrangements are
made on a case by case basis.
For students interested in beginner series classes for whom the
regular series price does not work, when a student is qualified,
one student per full section (5 or more students) may be
offered a discounted rate of $150 upon request of the student.

Temple of Poi, at its discretion, offers full scholarship for
